I had an amazing opportunity back in February to work on an illustration campaign for BMH Health 4 Equity, alongside a talented group of fellow black female illustrators.
For nearly six years, I’ve been fully immersed in the world of web design, crafting digital experiences for a software company. It’s been a rewarding journey, but something was missing – the freedom to express my creative soul.
At the beginning of 2020, I decided to rekindle my freelance journey in illustration and design. I found inspiration in unexpected places – the enchanting world of children’s book illustrations, the ever-evolving world of fashion, the captivating lens of photography, and the artistry of interior design. These diverse influences sparked something within me, propelling me towards creating art that tells stories in the most colorful, expressive, fun, and imaginative way possible.
